WWW Intervention and Older Children
The intervention has been used with older children with descriptions of its clinical effectiveness. There are no research evaluations.
The Manual  has a discussion with case material of work with a 9 year old and her mother.
Currently those clinicians wanting to use the Watch, Wait and Wonder Intervention with older children do an additional two cases with supervision from an accredited supervisor. There are different developmental needs that have to be met with an older child, some further modifications in technique and different challenges arise. The approach is recommended for use by clinicians with child psychotherapy training.
